Rainbow Obsidian Swirl

This large statement piece is carved into a swirl pattern allowing this stone to catch the light, really showing it’s many colors. Wrapped in Sterling Silver.  Measures 2.75 inches. Pendant Only.

Rainbow Obsidian, also known as Heaven’s Eye, is born when molten lava oozes from the core to the surface of the Earth and solidifies into a beautiful glass of fire and earth. The iridescent rainbow of red, blue, gold, violet, and green are refractions of tiny bubbles and inclusions.  This piece will appear Black or deep gray until the light catches it just right. I did a lot of juggleing to get the light to show the colors.
