Large Pearl Solitaire

Very large, beautifully iridescent Pearl Solitaire. Includes 15 inch sterling chain.  I can replace the chain with a longer one for a small charge upon request. 

Pearl is the birthstone for June and the gem of the third and thirtieth anniversaries.

The ancient Japanese believed that pearls were created out of the tears of mermaids, nymphs, angels and other mythical beings.

Pearls are quite "soft" and range between 2.5 and 4.5 on the Mohs scale of hardness. They should be protected from extreme wear. To clean your pearls, simply use warm water and a soft cloth, do not soak. As with most gemstones, ultrasonic cleaners and steamers are not recommended.
