Labradorite is a member of the Feldspar family and is known for it’s beautiful play of color, known as labradorescence. In the Myths of some of the Eskimo tribes, Labradorite is believed to have fallen from the Aurora Borealis (the Northern Lights). The Northern Lights were once trapped in rocks along the coast of Labrador. One Day, one of the ancestors struck a rock with his spear. And released the Aurora Borealis. Labradorite has also been called "Black Moonstone"

The Clear Quartz Stone comes from the Greek word for ice and with its glacial like appearance, pure transparency, and cooling vibes, it’s no wonder that this hunk of shimmering quartz came with connotations of crystal clear mountains and frozen waters.
