Obsidian and Peridot Bracelet

Beautiful round gold sheen obsidian accented by peridot. This is a dainty piece at only 7 inches.

Obsidian is a natural glass generally formed in volcanic eruptions and can come in many different colors. In ancient (and sometime not so ancient) history, this material was used to make knife blades and other weapons. This variety shows a lovely golden sheen when the light hits it.

Peridot is the birthstone for August and the 15th anniversary gemstone. The Egyptians called it the “gem of the sun” and it was said to be one of Cleopatra’s favorite gems.
